The set of the Broadway musical “Wicked”
Saw the show on Wednesday and it was AMAZING! I only wish I could have taken pictures during the performance. If anyone knows an in for shooting plays/musicals/dance performances let me know or pass my info along! I love shooting performances like this and the lighting makes it challenging as well as incredibly interesting!
I can’t even explain to you how obsessed I was with these freaking windmills. They literally MADE my 9 hour drive to (and from) Toronto. I was so excited to get some pictures of them on my way home!!!

Soooo, I was going through my pictures yet again, and came to my album from RINTINTIN [those of you who don’t know RINTINTIN was a day (Jan. 10, 2010) in which myself, Jess LaRue, Sierra Dehmler, and Jon Barker took over the town of NYC. It was a magical day in which we shared a laugh with Amanda Duncan and Lauren Zettler over lunch, and enjoyed the musical soundings of Bess Rogers, Lelia Broussard and Jackrabbits of the Youcatan (J.O.Y.) by night]. It was MAGICAL. Anyways, all that aside I was just perusing my photos and stumbled upon this image that immediately made me LONG (and I mean LOOOOOOONG) for that crisp winter sun, and piercingly cold air that nearly froze us to death while in the city. It’s just one of those things that seeps into your soul as you grow older. That simple atmosphere around you that can bring about so much emotion and so many memories, just be being. Ahh, the simple things in life. Anyways, I hope you can enjoy the same feelings when you look at this photograph…

New York in the Wintertime - You get me, you really do.
