I was so excited to do this shmideo! It was quite challenging to stave off both my impending chest cold and the insistent Australian accent that tried to creep into this performance.
I’m sad because I actually misinterpreted one of the lyrics amidst my efforts to try NOT to sing with the accent with which I’ve grown to know the song so well.
Try singing a Green Day song without a fake British accent! Nearly impossible!
But still, a very cool song and a very good time had by all.
